Handmade Pottery Jars

Handmade pottery jars influenced by traditional Japanese ceramics as well as western forms and functions. Most are unglazed, wood-fired, with the only decoration being the natural wood ash and fire marks. Some smaller ones are glazed, such as those for tableware and some water jars for tea ceremony. Large jars are wonderful for ikebana flower arrangement. The price range varies depending on size and the kiln gods' blessing: approximately $25 for a small honey pot, while a large jar would likely be in the $300-$600 range. Shipping and handling is based on size and weight and is generally about 20% added on. Minimum shipping is $15.
