Handmade Pottery Plates

Handmade stoneware pottery dinnerware makes every meal special. Order a set or mix and match. Please see the glaze palette for ideas. Special orders are accepted but you must be patient for any item not in stock. These are entirely hand-made, with no molds or casting. Each piece is of the moment and there are slight variations within sets which add to the earthy charm. Very durable, these stoneware plates can be safely put throught the dishwasher. Matte glazes are especially durable and will remain scratch free for decades. (The shiny glazes are also very durable as they are fired to approximately 2300 degrees F.) All are non-toxic and safe to use with any food. Dinner plates range in price from $35-$45 each.

Unglazed wood-fired Bizen style platters are ideal for showing off a green salad or breads. Glazed ware is recommended for meat and fish. The larger platters range in price from $60-$250. Shipping and handling add approximately 20%. Free delivery on orders over $200.
